London MEP candidates selected for 2009
Following a ballot of party members, the listing of Conservative Party candidates for 2009 European elections have been announced. The list in full is:
Cllr Ian Gibb, Conservative Parliamentary candidate in Ealing North said, "Charles and Syed are hard working members of the European Parliament and I look forward to working with them and the rest of their colleagues on the list to get a strong Conservative team elected. It's vital that we have a strong voice in Europe to make sure that we can hold Labour to account and stop the continuous surrendering of our powers."
